Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of bathroom renovation and related services by Bathroom Renovation Group (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services or requesting a quotation, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Scope of Services

Bathroom Renovation Group provides bathroom renovation, refurbishment, design, installation, and related building services as detailed in written quotations or agreements.

All work is carried out in accordance with the agreed scope outlined in your quotation. Any additional work requested outside of this scope will be treated as a variation (see Section 7).

2. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time, including site details and client requirements.

  • Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices may be subject to change if:

    • Site conditions differ from those reasonably expected

    • Client requirements change

    • Additional works are requested

    • Materials or supplier costs change beyond our control

Where required, we may request a site visit before issuing a final quotation.

 

3. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit may be required before work commences.

  • Payment schedules will be clearly outlined in your quotation or agreement.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may result in delays to work or handover.

All payments must be made in accordance with the agreed terms.

 

4. Project Timelines

  • Project timelines provided are estimates and may vary due to:

    • Material availability

    • Design changes

    • Site conditions

    • Third-party delays (e.g. suppliers, building control, utilities)

We will communicate any material changes to timelines as soon as reasonably possible.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing access to the property during agreed working hours

  • Ensuring utilities (water, electricity) are available during works

  • Removing personal items from the work area prior to commencement

  • Informing us of any known issues (e.g. asbestos, structural concerns)

Failure to do so may result in delays or additional costs.

 

6. Materials & Fixtures

  • Materials, fixtures, and fittings will be supplied as specified in the agreed quotation.

  • Any client-supplied materials must be delivered on time and be suitable for installation.

  • We are not responsible for delays, defects, or failures related to client-supplied items.

 

7. Variations & Additional Work

Any changes to the agreed scope of works must be approved in writing before commencement.

Variations may affect:

  • Project cost

  • Completion timelines

We will provide revised pricing for approval where applicable.

 

8. Defects & Snagging

  • Any defects or snagging issues must be reported within 14 days of project completion.

  • We will remedy confirmed defects caused by our workmanship within a reasonable timeframe.

  • This does not cover:

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Misuse or lack of maintenance

    • Manufacturer defects beyond supplied warranties

 

9. Warranties & Guarantees

  • Workmanship is guaranteed in accordance with applicable UK standards.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials and fixtures where relevant.

  • Warranty coverage does not apply to:

    • Client-supplied materials

    • Damage caused by third parties or alterations after completion

 

10. Health & Safety

We operate in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Clients must ensure children, pets, and unauthorised persons are kept away from work areas during the project.

 

11. Access & Working Hours

Working hours will be agreed in advance. Access restrictions or delays outside our control may affect timelines and costs.

 

12. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be provided in writing.

  • Deposits may be non-refundable where materials have been ordered or work has commenced.

  • Cancellation terms will be outlined in your quotation or agreement.

 

13. Limitation of Liability

Bathroom Renovation Group will not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Delays caused by events beyond our control

  • Pre-existing defects or structural issues not reasonably identifiable prior to works

Our liability is limited to the value of the agreed contract where permitted by law.

 

14. Complaints

We aim to deliver a professional, high-quality service. If you have any concerns, please contact us directly so we can resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

 

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

16. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Bathroom Renovation Group, requesting a quotation, or proceeding with works, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
